What is the van?

Do you live in a community where getting in-person care is difficult? Our van can be hosted at a location near you in partnership with local community organizations such as fire stations, libraries, and community centers. Staffed by an EMT or Nurse, it uses cutting-edge telemedicine and communication technology to allow you to get a complete exam, diagnosis, and treatment...even when there are no available in-person doctors nearby.

What can I be seen for?

As a patient, you can receive the following services at the COL Mobile Care van:
  • Vital signs (blood pressure, Heart rate, Oxygen Level (pulse oximetry)) taken
  • General exam
  • Heart and Lung exam using the digital stethoscope
  • Ear, Nose, Throat(ENT) & Skin exam using the specialty camera
  • Lab Tests (Flu, strep, COVID, pregnancy, urine)
  • Prescriptions (sent to nearby pharmacy)
  • Therapy through partner mental health care providers

*The van does not do door-to-door housecalls
