Pay Rate: $19-$25/Hr (EMTs/MAs), $25-28/Hr (Paramedics, LPNs), $28-$35/Hr (RNs)
Status: Part-Time(10-20 hours per week)

Care on Location is a Colorado telemedicine startup looking for a "Care Connector" to help facilitate access to care for your community. You will be at the forefront of our hybrid telemedicine model. You will either co-locate inside of another facility(fire station, library, community center) or bring the care to patients in our Mobile Telemedicine Examination Klinic(MobilTEK). We are a telehealth-first model of care, where you will be utilizing the latest in communication and telehealth technologies to get patients the care they need…where they need it. You are the first point of contact with local patients and local partners.

Responsibilities:

CONNECT

• Driving, maintaining, and stocking our full-size, high-roof telehealth van(no patient transport is involved).
• Scheduling and intake for patient appointments.

CARE

• Conducting patient exams live to a distant doctor using telehealth equipment(digital stethoscope, digital ear, nose, throat, & skin camera, etc.).
• Performing limited bedside testing, including but not limited to strep, flu, and covid tests.
• Performing limited therapeutics such as wound care and orthopedic care.
• Providing follow-up information and instructions to the patient.

COLLABORATE

• Provide patients with referrals to local health and social needs resources.
• Outreach to local resources and partners for marketing and collaboration purposes.
• Send patient reports to appropriate follow-up stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Active License and/or certification consistent with your field
• BLS certification
• 1 year of professional medical experience
• Competency with the use of computers and videoconferencing software
• Driving record with no accidents in prior 5 years
• Experience in EMS, emergency medicine, urgent care, or primary care
• Caring and inclusive patient bedside manner
• Some moderate lifting and ladder climbing required
• Ability to be self-motivated to work diligently without immediate oversight

Preferences:

• Experience in performing electrocardiograms
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Additional skillsets that may contribute to a startup organization

Schedule:

• 8-20 hours per week
• No overnights
