Mobile Telemedicine Examination Kit

A Virtual In-SCHOOL Medical Clinic

Getting short-notice medical care can be difficult under the best of circumstances, and costly too.  Delaying care can have serious consequences.  This no appointment necessary medical service is like having a doctor on your staff.

Our healthcare providers are able to treat & prescribe for many non-emergency conditions.  As many as 40% of ER visits and 70% of office visits can be handled through a video visit. Consider providing on-site strep and flu tests to expand your capabilities in your school-based telemedicine clinic.

Or A simple But Secure “Skype-Like” Video Conference

By connecting our secure application and electronic health records to Zoom’s encrypted and full-featured video conferencing platform, we can conduct a live interactive exam.

Parents and guardians can be brought into the video conference to participate in the visit.  All participants can screen share test results and pictures from their computers.  Post-care instruction links can be passed through a chat feature for viewing and downloading.

Students can be evaluated at school or at home in the evenings by our care team.

Using Modern Technology

Whether a simple “Skype-like” video evaluation or a more thorough exam using our Mobile Telemedicine Examination Kit (MobiTEK), students can receive a quality exam on par with an in-person visit.

MobiTek includes a digital camera and stethoscope that allows our medical providers to see the eardrum, get a close up view of a rash, and listen to the child’s heart and lungs.  All software and hardware uses the latest security protocols and is HIPAA-compliant.

School-based telemedicine options

At Potentially No Direct Cost to Your School System

Care on Location can provide a Fee-For-Service care model where we directly bill insurance and healthcare consumers.  We offer use of our software to schools for free to connect to our providers.

For an even more impressive care system, we would recommend setting up a school-based telemedicine clinic using our Mobile Telemedicine Examination Kit.  Allowing medically trained school staff such as nurses to provide a full physical exam to the online provider.  Some costs may be associated with equipment purchasing and marketing.

Funding Opportunities  – There are several telehealth-related grant opportunities to help you continue to expand the excellent services you provide your community. We seek partners to apply for NIH, USDA, and Colorado Health Foundation grants among others.

Our online team, made up of doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, is dedicated to getting and keeping you healthy. We use nationally accepted medical guidelines to provide a level of care that is as good as or exceeds what you would get from other care settings.

All of our Colorado-based team members have years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics.  Additionally, medical providers are mindful of their "Webside Manners" and each is personally trained in the art of taking care of patients online (telemedicine). Every team member is board-certified in their appropriate field and has been background checked to assure that you get quality, safe care.

You can trust that when you seek care from Care on Location, you are seeing top-notch clinicians with whom you can feel comfortable and confident.
